Welcome to Mayan Mexico

Far from the international hotels and beaches of Cancun, this tour uncovers the mysteries and intrigues of the ancient Mayan and Aztec cultures in the real Mexico. Journey first to Mexico City, the country’s capital to explore Teotihuacan and a thriving modern culture. The adventure then continues in Chiapas, home to crumbling Mayan cities and temples that are half-swallowed by the jungle, making this an adventurer’s dream.  We will fall in love with the vibrant culture in San Cristobal with tours of archaic communities, traditional Temazcals (sweat lodges), and an authentic cooking class. Chiapas is the perfect blend of ancient but astoundingly advanced civilizations, the legacy of the conquistadors and the spirit of modern Mexican people.
