Welcome to Mallorca

Mallorca is known for its irresistible sandy beaches, temperate climate and the Mediterranean Sea stretching out beyond the horizon. Sitting on Mallorca’s more secluded Northern Coast, our holiday places you in one of the most beautiful and peaceful beach-front towns, Port de Pollença. Rest, relaxation and recuperation are all catered for with the classic elements of our half-board beach break.

Our holiday will also provide a slightly different flavour – golden sand, tantalising tapas and ice cold sangria will be intermingled with Mallorca’s vibrant cultural and historic gems. We’ll embark on tours of Mallorca’s impressive capital, Palma, as well as the atmospheric medieval streets of Pollença and Alcudia. Discover Mallorca for what it really is – a truly idyllic beachfront sanctuary, but one dotted with Iberian culture and intriguing antiquity.

Delve into Mallorca’s rich past with a guided tour of Pollença. The village is just outside Port de Pollença but feels centuries apart. With its 13th century Catalan architecture, feel yourself transport from modern to ancient Mallorca in a space of minutes. Immerse yourself in a society of deep tradition and ritual. Our tour guide will give us unparalleled insight into the town’s centenary celebrations and its links with the Knights Templars. We’ll ascend up a spectacular exposed stone staircase to the Calvary before exploring the Roman Bridge with its origins that remain shrouded in mystery.

There will also be a lovely market in Pollença today and we will get the chance to explore this at leisure in the afternoon.

Breakfast and dinner included. Overnight in Port de Pollença.

Monday 26th June

Why not indulge in some rest and relaxation on the golden sandy beach of Port de Pollença today. Cool down with an ice cream or a dip in the perfectly transparent Mediterranean. You may wish to sample some tapas from one of Port de Pollença’s many cafes and restaurants for a long, lazy lunch.

Alternatively, why not venture to one of Mallorca’s vineyards, such as Can Vidalet, and enjoy some wine tasting.

The evening or late afternoon is the perfect time to stroll along Port de Pollença’s famed Pine Walk. You can stroll along the coast, passing by shops, restaurants, bars and the marina lined with bobbing yachts. By night the illuminations of the town with the cool evening breeze and tranquil sea provide an atmospheric and quintessentially Mediterranean evening paradise.

Breakfast included and dinner included. Overnight in Port de Pollença.

Tuesday 27th June

Our tour begins with a scenic drive through the countryside to Palma de Mallorca, the capital of the island. Whether it be the narrow atmospheric stoned streets or the Cathedral of Parroquia de Sant Jaume constructed during the gothic revival Alcudia is an extremely charming place for a leisurely stroll.
