Welcome to Leicester

Leicester is a city with a rich medieval past and thriving present. The city came to the forefront of British history when archaeologists discovered the remains of Richard III, the last Plantagenet king. This sparked a huge project to build a visitor centre on the site and turn Leicester Cathedral into a site of historical homage. We will be given exclusive tours for both these attractions followed by a visit and dramatic walk through of Richard III’s demise at the site of the battle of Bosworth field. Immerse yourself in one of Britain’s greatest tales, The Wars of the Roses, while exploring a city that now houses the burial place of a king and one of histories most recent underdog succcess stories, that of Leicester City Football Club.
